Harp Circles
1) Try to do regional harp circles in 2010.
• Try in Feb and April
• Jan full circle could be new Celtic music from CCHS library; Feb regional circles would continue with that music
• March full circle would focus on Early Music from CCHS library; April regional circles would continue with that music
2) Separate but related item, start doing like some groups like the recorders do, i.e. select music that the group will continue to play at each circle. This means people would become more and more familiar and comfortable with the music and we’d become more and more skilled with the music. We would expand the binders Carolyn started, but put in copies of music we have in the library with the idea that that music is what we’ll “work on” in the circles over the next 6-12 months. January we’d introduce a couple Celtic pieces and then in March we’d introduce some Early Music pieces. Details to be developed.
